Both Hacheston & Parham villages are delighted to participate as Community Speed Watch volunteers to do what we can to improve the long term anti-social problem of speeding through our villages. We are grateful to the District Council in providing funding and to both Parish Councils also to our PCSO Christian Hassler From the Framlingham Safer Neighbourhood Team for the work that they have taken to put the scheme together.
With approximately 20 community volunteers, we hope that we can start to make a real difference and encourage drivers to maintain the 30 mph speed limit.
Anyone interested in joining the group of volunteers should please contact Speedwatch Co-ordinator Jos Slade via the contact form.
Training takes about an hour and the task would take approximately 1 hour every 6 weeks.
